I am excited to work with your students and to support them in reaching their fullest potential. I bring 20 years of experience in education, along with 14 years in retail management, which has strengthened my leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
I have been married to my wife, Kelly, for 33 years, and we are blessed with three children and four grandchildren. I look forward to partnering with our families and staff to ensure success for every student.
“Success is peace of mind, which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you did your best to become the best you are capable of becoming.”

Dean of Instruction

Tonya Hopkins
I am excited to begin serving as the dean of instruction at Woodridge Forest Middle School. As I enter my 20th year in New Caney ISD, I feel incredibly grateful for the amazing leaders who have mentored and invested in me throughout my career. Their guidance has shaped both my leadership philosophy and my passion for supporting teachers and students.
I spent 11 years teaching middle school English before transitioning into instructional coaching. For the past eight years, I have served as a multilingual instructional coach at both the middle and high school levels, partnering with teachers through coaching, professional learning, and the PLC process to strengthen instruction and improve student outcomes.
I believe that meaningful relationships, collaboration, and a commitment to continuous learning create the conditions for both students and educators to thrive. I am honored to be part of the Woodridge Forest family and look forward to partnering with our students, staff, and families to make this an exceptional year.
Assistant Principal - 6th Grade

Anthony Anderson
Hello, Falcons! My name is Anthony Anderson, and I’m excited to serve as an assistant principal here at Woodridge Forest Middle School. WFMS has been "home" since the beginning of my journey in education, where I’ve proudly served as an English teacher for the past five years. I graduated from Sam Houston State University—Eat ‘Em Up Kats!—where I earned a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies, a master’s in curriculum and instruction, and a master’s in school leadership.
My ultimate goal is to provide all students with the opportunities, resources, and support they need to reach their fullest potential and chase their biggest dreams. I truly believe we have the best students, staff, and families here at WFMS, and I'm looking forward to an amazing school year ahead.
Let's SOAR, Falcons!

David Saul
I have a passion for helping students and teachers reach their full potential. I have over 30 years of experience in education, including 20 years as an assistant principal and 5 as an elementary school principal. I believe that a school must have a shared vision that is focused on helping all students to be successful while maintaining a safe, caring and supportive learning environment. Strong relationships between parents, students, faculty and the community will help all students Lead the Way to reach their dreams while supporting others. “Falcons Lead the Way”.
